WHAT OTHERS SAY
About our Winchesters

Hey Jim!

I received the rifle yesterday. Some thirty years ago I shot an 1890 at a carnival and wanted one ever since. For thirty years I have looked at every gun show across the US, always looking for an 1890 in 22 short. For as long as there has been internet, I searched weekly every gun auction site there was. I could never find that special one. I am not sure how I found your site online but thank the Lord I did. When I saw you had one for sale, I was not sure at first, I had my shooting buddies look at your pictures. I stared at them over and over. WOW, I am glad I bought the rifle from you! What a beauty, it is what I have looked for, for 30 years. I really appreciate the way it was shipped in a rifle case also. I hope we can do some more business with each other.

Thank you so much for a great rifle and bringing closure to a thirty year desire!
God Bless!

Richard

Steve & Jim,
I just received the gun ten minutes ago. Just beautiful. You two are the best and most honest dealers I ever dealt with.

Thanks.

Dear Steve and Jim,
The 1894 arrived today. You guys gave a perfect description of this Winchester and I am delighted and a proud owner. Thanks too for the soft gun bag, unexpected and a nice gesture on your part.
I rather suspect that you will be hearing from me again!

Keep up the good work!...nobody I know of offers as many collectable, shootable Winchesters as you guys do with price tags the average person can afford.

Hi Steve & Jim,
The 1894 25/35 arrived today in good shape.
Looks like a real keeper. Great bore and a lot of
blue. You guys are the best.

Hi Steve,
The gun got to my shop yesterday, the guys called me and I went in this am to get it. The gun was wrapped with real care, and the new case and cover were a surprise. The way I was treated I would recommend to anyone to buy a gun from you!!! First class service and a incredible gun. Way more than I expected. I have it in my living room so I can admire it.

Again thanks for the first class care you provide.
John . . . West Chester, PA

Steve,
The Winchester 1895 arrived today in good shape. This is one fine carbine! You and Jim went above and beyond in rootin' this one out. Very happy with the condition- just as described. Completely cleaned the bore. Maybe better than your described 9. This could go to 9+.... Weather permitting will try it at the range tomorrow. Will let you know how she shoots- I have little doubt that it will shoot great.

Again thanks for a fine Winchester.
George . . . from Colorado

Steve & Jim
The rifle you all shipped to me here in Roswell arrived today. It was packed very well and there were no problems in the shipment. Thanks again for the great deal and your time. I will keep an eye on your site and see if there is anything else there that I cannot live without.

Thanks again
John . . . Roswell, New Mexico

The bore looks better than I expected, the rifle is very nice. The logos are better than I expected. I think you did well describing. Probably won't get a chance to shoot today but probably tomorrow. I am Happy with my purchase.
I will need a 73 Short Rifle or Carbine next... (after a while)

Thank You

Steve & Jim,
Just a note to say the two ‘92s arrived yesterday. They look great and are “just as advertised.” I’m really looking forward to the process of developing loads for each of them and shooting both in local silhouette matches. Definitely an investment I can enjoy.

Thanks,

Buz . . . Forsyth, Montana

Steve,
I picked of the rifle this afternoon. It looks tremendous! The sight looks like it has been there for 100 years. The rifle is better than I expected. It has been a pleasure doing business with you. I'll surely recommend you to my friends.

Thanks,
Ken, Vallejo, California

Steve, I picked up the rifle yesterday. I am well pleased with it. It shoots inside of two inches at 100 yards.. Thank you very much. Can't wait to see the 32-40.

Jack, Luftin, Texas

Hello Steve:
Thanks to you and Jim for the suggestion on tightening the takedown on the 1894. My faithful assistant and I did it this afternoon and it worked out great. In fact the whole system works much better. Also, I replaced the series 22 sight on the 30 WCF with the express sight and it looks great. You were correct about the wear mark.
I did another stock with your N-35 stain and was quite happy with the result. I'll pick up another bottle or two next time, although a little seems to go a long ways.

Ben, Reno, Nevada

Steve,
I've got the Model 61. WOW, what a beauty, I nearly had to wrestle my way out of the gun store. I am very pleased and it is as you described, awesome! I will watch your website but feel free to email me or call.

Thanks Again!!!!!!!
Tim, Rapid City, South Dakota

Jim & Steve,
Man, I can't believe how good your N-35 works! I've been collecting and restoring old Winchester for over 30 years, and I've never been able to match the original color . . until now. I've got some high quality Winchester Model 42's that I was afraid to try other products on. But your stuff comes out perfect whether I just touch it up or do a whole buttstock. Save me 8 more bottles of it, and I'll pick them up next time you do the Reno Show. Thanks guys, this stuff works!"

Bud, Sutter Creek, CA

Hi Steve
I tried the N-35 this evening. You remember the clunker 86 45-90 I had at the show? The buttstock is a replacement I had fit and finished previously with Tru-Oil. I spread on a coat of N-35 over the existing oil finish and let it sit a few seconds. I wiped it off and then applied a second coat and was treated to a very nice reddish brown color. I now have the old clunker resting in a gun rack with original 86's above and below. The color of the clunker stock is almost a perfect match with the originals. I am very impressed. If you remember, the stocks on this gun were pretty light colored. The best part is that the stain either dyed the existing oil or penetrated through it, I'm not sure. At any case this stuff works. I like it! Best match to original Winchester color I have used. I think that anyone who uses this will be impressed.

Thanks
Mark, Colvile, Washington
